I texted back because I hadn’t been trying to get into my account. They blocked the login attempt and told me to make a unique four digit code and text it back. They said t would be needed when I tried to log back in. I got my password changed as soon as I could but it took me a little while because the password reset email wasn’t coming to my email. Finally I had them text it and I got my password changed. When logging in, I now can only get as far as putting my username and password in but it asks me to add a code that was sent to my authentication app to prove it is me. I haven’t gotten a code at all and I’ve tried multiple times to log in. I believe the hacker may have changed my Snapchat accounts email while they were in there due to this and the problem with getting the password reset link in my email.
